What does Peacemaker’s gameplay trailer show?
The reveal puts Peacemaker’s helmet abilities and his eagle companion, Eagley, at the center of the action. A NetherRealm design department member, Christopher M., described how the team built the character around core attacks and special moves, then added references to the television series. He characterized the intended style as “straight-forward and accessible.” These are the developer’s descriptions of the design, not results from independent balance testing.

Eagley and Kameo interactions
Eagley can attack an opponent’s Kameo Fighter and interrupt its use, giving the companion a role beyond visual reference to the series.

How can you play as Peacemaker?
Peacemaker is downloadable content, not part of the standalone base game by itself. At the time of the reveal, Warner Bros. Games pointed players to the Premium Edition or to adding the Kombat Pack to the Standard Edition. The official support FAQ describes the Kombat Pack as a separate digital purchase that includes Peacemaker among six downloadable characters.
The FAQ lists Mortal Kombat 1 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. It says the base game is available physically and digitally. Package contents and availability can vary by platform and change over time, so check the store listing for your platform before buying. Read the official Kombat Pack FAQ.

Which purchase route makes sense?
- You already own the base game: Check whether the Kombat Pack or an edition you own includes Peacemaker before purchasing the character content separately.
- You do not own the game: Compare the base game plus eligible DLC against bundles that include the game and add-on content. Confirm the exact contents on your platform’s current store page.
- You want a physical copy: The FAQ says the base game is sold physically and digitally; Peacemaker remains DLC, so verify how the add-on is included or purchased for your platform.
How did later Mortal Kombat 1 editions package Peacemaker?
Warner Bros. Games announced Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns in September 2024. The bundle for existing owners included the previous Kombat Pack, while its Kollection included the main game and expansion. In May 2025, Warner Bros. Games announced a digital Definitive Edition containing the main game and previously released DLC, including Peacemaker in the Kombat Pack fighter roster.
These later packages affect which purchase may include Peacemaker, but they do not establish current prices or present-day availability. Check the current platform listing and its edition contents before choosing. See the Khaos Reigns announcement and the Definitive Edition announcement.

What is known about Peacemaker’s sales or performance?
The official announcement and developer feature do not provide a Peacemaker-specific sales, audience, or gameplay-performance statistic. Warner Bros. Games’ May 2025 figure of more than 100 million units worldwide refers to the Mortal Kombat franchise, not Mortal Kombat 1 or Peacemaker.
