Why the 4K 240Hz QD-OLED format matters
The combination targets PC players who want both UHD detail and very high refresh rates. A 3840 × 2160 image on a 31.5-inch panel provides a sharper desktop and game view than lower-resolution alternatives, while 240Hz leaves headroom for a suitably powerful graphics card in games that can render at high frame rates.
QD-OLED is also the reason the monitor is positioned as a premium gaming display. OLED pixels can switch rapidly, and MSI lists a 0.03ms GtG response time plus ClearMR 13000. Those remain vendor specifications rather than a hands-on test result, so buyers should not treat them as a guarantee of identical performance in every mode or game.

MSI white 240Hz QD-OLED monitor: what PC gamers get
High-resolution, high-refresh play
The 240Hz ceiling is most useful in competitive PC games when the system can supply correspondingly high frame rates. In slower or graphically demanding games, the 4K resolution may be the more visible benefit and the panel will not automatically make a game render at 240 frames per second.
HDR and OLED protections
MSI lists DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification and its OLED Care 2.0 protections. The care system includes pixel-shift and detection features intended to reduce burn-in risk. They are mitigation tools, not a promise that image retention is impossible; sensible varied usage and the monitor’s maintenance prompts still matter.

- High 240Hz refresh rate, ultra-low 0.03ms GtG response time

One-cable laptop-style setup
USB-C DisplayPort Alt Mode can deliver video while supplying up to 90W of power, which can simplify a compatible laptop setup. MSI also lists KVM functionality, allowing a single keyboard and mouse arrangement to be shared between connected systems when configured through the monitor.
MPG 321URXW QD-OLED and PS5 120Hz support
MSI says the monitor’s HDMI 2.1 ports provide up to 48Gbps bandwidth and lists 120Hz support, VRR and ALLM for the latest consoles. In practical terms, that makes the display suitable for a PS5 connected over HDMI 2.1.

- Incredible HDR visual – VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400.

That does not mean every PS5 game runs at 120Hz. The game’s graphics modes, the console’s video settings, the cable and the display mode selected determine whether 120Hz and VRR are actually used. Check the PS5’s Settings > Screen and Video > Video Output menu after connecting, and confirm the game’s own performance-mode options.
Burn-in coverage and ownership considerations
MSI advertises a three-year OLED warranty that includes burn-in coverage. Warranty eligibility, exclusions, registration requirements and service arrangements can differ by country, so read the terms for the market where the monitor is purchased rather than assuming the same coverage worldwide.
Rank #4
- 3rd Gen QD-OLED Panel – With stunning image quality and fast response time
- DisplayPort 2.1a (UHBR20) – Offering up to 80Gbps bandwidth, allowing gamers to enjoy native, lossless 4K at 240Hz for a smoother experience
- Fastest 0.03ms GtG response time and 240Hz refresh rate
- QD Premium Color – Ensures the color meets the market standard – Delta E≤2
- Incredible HDR visual – VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400
OLED Care 2.0 is designed to lower burn-in risk, but static desktop elements, news tickers and game HUDs displayed for long periods remain sensible reasons to use screen-saving and pixel-maintenance features. The warranty should be viewed as additional protection, not as permission to ignore those precautions.
