When did the PlayStation Secret Lair go on sale?
Wizards of the Coast put the seven-drop Superdrop on sale October 27, 2025, at 9 a.m. PT. PlayStation’s announcement described the collaboration as spanning The Last of Us, God of War, Horizon Forbidden West, Uncharted, Ghost of Tsushima, and more. The launch is now historical, not an upcoming release. PlayStation’s announcement and Wizards’ Superdrop listing give the launch details.
What were the original prices?
Wizards listed each of the seven drops at $39.99 USD in non-foil or $49.99 USD in foil. These are the original official prices, not a quote for current availability or resale value. Foil treatment was rainbow foil for six drops; God of War: Norse was specified as traditional foil. Wizards’ listing has the product and treatment details.
What cards are in each drop?
Each drop pairs Magic cards with a PlayStation franchise or characters. Where a card is a reprint with a new name and presentation, its Magic card name is followed by the Secret Lair name.

Were there bonuses or shipping offers?
Wizards announced one rainbow foil Sol Ring for every $199 spent on Superdrop products, while supplies lasted, and free shipping on single orders over $99 subject to terms. The support page identifies the qualifying bonus as Secret Lair x Twisted Metal: Sol Ring. These were conditional offers attached to the original sale, not standing benefits or confirmation of present availability. Wizards’ Superdrop announcement and its production and shipping status page record those details.

Wizards explains that Secret Lair sales may use time-boxed preorders, orders can be managed before payment is taken, and sale items may no longer be available after a sale closes. For updates to a particular Secret Lair’s production or shipping status, consult Wizards’ status page; its historical dates are not a marketplace inventory feed. Wizards’ preorder guidance explains the general sale process.
Are the cards legal in Magic formats?
Wizards said each drop contains one or more cards new to Magic. Those new cards are legal in Commander, Legacy, and Vintage; the other cards are legal in formats where they were already available. That does not mean every card in each drop is newly designed or legal in every format. Wizards’ announcement provides the stated legality rules.

Wizards said non-foil versions were planned for later sale through WPN game stores, but that announcement does not confirm current inventory at any store. If buying from a current retailer or secondary-market seller, verify the exact drop, foil treatment, included cards, condition, seller, and live price before ordering.
