Ubisoft added Steam Achievements to Assassin’s Creed Revelations, Assassin’s Creed III and Assassin’s Creed Liberation through updates announced in December 2024 and February 2025. Ubisoft says previously completed progress can unlock achievements retroactively in Revelations and Assassin’s Creed III; for the latter, launch the game once on Steam to sync. Its announcement also says multiplayer achievements were excluded from Assassin’s Creed III because they were inaccessible.
Confirmed Ubisoft games with Steam Achievements
Ubisoft announced the additions in separate Steam posts. The announcements confirm these examples, but do not establish a complete list of every Ubisoft title covered by the broader headline.

The December announcement for Revelations is available in Ubisoft’s Steam post. Ubisoft’s February post covers Assassin’s Creed III and notes that Liberation achievements had also been released.
Will existing progress unlock Steam Achievements?
Assassin’s Creed III
Ubisoft says yes for completed accomplishments: start Assassin’s Creed III once on Steam, and progress will sync automatically. That is the specific instruction in Ubisoft’s February 18, 2025 announcement; it does not say every related game uses the same method.

Assassin’s Creed Revelations
Ubisoft says completed accomplishments would receive achievements retroactively. Its December 12, 2024 post does not provide further steps, so the Assassin’s Creed III launch instruction should not be assumed to apply to Revelations.
Assassin’s Creed Liberation
The February announcement confirms that achievements were released for Liberation, but does not state whether existing progress is credited or explain how to trigger a sync.

What about Assassin’s Creed III Remastered?
Ubisoft’s February 2025 announcement described achievements for Assassin’s Creed III Remastered as “coming soon.” That is only a statement of intent at the time, not confirmation of its current availability. Ubisoft’s announcements index is available at Steam’s Ubisoft announcements page.

The official posts document title-by-title additions across December 2024 and February 2025. They do not provide a definitive roster for all Ubisoft games that may be included in a broader update story, nor do they report player or achievement-completion statistics.

A November 27, 2025 PC Gamer report discusses Rainbow Six Siege achievements as a separate later example. It does not establish that Siege was part of the specific group of updates described here.
