What is The CUBE?
The CUBE is an MMO RPG shooter that expands Mundfish’s Atomic Universe. Its central premise is a huge levitating cube whose rotating rows and edges alter the surrounding world and the conditions of combat. Mundfish announced it on June 7, 2025. The announced feature set includes exploration through different biomes, quests and hidden secrets, character progression and customization, weapons and skills, and enemies and bosses. Mundfish also describes a proprietary Split-Rendering System intended to support dynamic movement and synchronization in multiplayer. It is being developed by Team Clout as the first title under the Mundfish Powerhouse label. The project was introduced in Mundfish’s June 7, 2025 announcement. Mundfish highlights unpredictable monsters, environmental physics, puzzles, weapon modification and upgrades, crafting, and strategic inventory management. The project also emphasizes a visceral dismemberment system. These are announced design features; they should not be read as a hands-on assessment of how the game plays.
When is ILL coming out?
ILL is targeting 2027, with development announced for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Team Clout and Mundfish Powerhouse gave that target and platform list in an announcement posted June 2, 2026. The year is a target, not a confirmed launch date.
