Nexon later reported that NAKWON: Last Paradise’s closed alpha drew more than 37,000 concurrent players. Those are separate claims; the 37,000-plus figure is the one Nexon explicitly identified as concurrent.
What player count did NAKWON: Last Paradise reach?
Nexon’s 2026 Capital Markets Briefing says the company had “recently completed a closed-alpha test with more than 37,000 concurrent players.” That is an official company-reported milestone, but the presentation passage does not specify the test’s exact date.
The separate 24,000 figure in the headline remains unverified: the cited official material does not identify its original source or say what it measures. It could not be established whether it refers to an earlier count, another test, or a different metric. It should not be described as a concurrent-player total or attributed to Nexon.
What is NAKWON: Last Paradise?
Nexon describes NAKWON as a third-person multiplayer zombie-survival game set in Seoul, South Korea. Players live as shelter residents, manage shelter life, and venture into the city to scavenge supplies while facing infected and hostile survivors. Nexon’s game description also outlines close- and ranged-weapon options, special infected, changing day and night conditions, rain, a skill tree, shelter furnishings, and progression through citizen ranks. These are descriptions of the game and its alpha content, not independent findings about the test.
