If NARAKA: BLADEPOINT will not launch, hangs at the 24 Entertainment logo, or crashes after you enter the game, start with the checks that match your symptom. The official troubleshooting FAQ is dated August 11, 2021, so treat its advice as legacy publisher guidance—not a guaranteed fix for a current installation. NARAKA had official updates in September 2026; check your launcher for the latest client files and consult current official announcements before assuming an old fix applies.
First, identify where the failure happens
“Won’t launch,” a logo stall, and an in-game crash are different symptoms. The official FAQ lists different checks for launch failures and a stall at the 24 Entertainment logo; it does not establish that all three problems share one cause.
- The game does not open: Begin with a launcher-specific file check, security-software interference, and system compatibility.
- It stops at the 24 Entertainment logo: The FAQ specifically suggests checking the .NET and 64-bit Visual C++ environments.
- It crashes after starting or during play: Check game files, system configuration, graphics drivers, and whether the issue began after a recent update. The available official guidance does not identify a universal cause.
Work through the least invasive checks first
1. Restart and check for current updates
Restart the PC and the game launcher, then check that the launcher has finished any pending update or file download. The official download page displayed a 90.66 GB client dated September 17, 2026, when reviewed October 8, 2026, and official notes record maintenance and an update around September 16–17, 2026. Check the current launcher and official announcements for the latest patch context; recent update activity alone does not show that a patch caused your problem.
2. Verify files if you play through Steam
The 2021 FAQ gives a Steam-specific path. In Steam, restart the computer and Steam, open your Library, right-click NARAKA: BLADEPOINT and choose Properties, select Local Files, then choose Verify integrity of game files. Let the check finish and allow Steam to reacquire any files it reports as missing or damaged before trying again. This is not an instruction for every launcher; use the equivalent repair or verification option only if your launcher provides one.

3. Check security software without leaving protection disabled
The FAQ suggests checking whether antivirus or other security software is interfering, adding NARAKA files to its exceptions, and temporarily closing protection software during troubleshooting. First check the security product’s quarantine or blocked-app history. If you test with protection paused, do so briefly, avoid browsing or downloading during the test, restore protection immediately, and re-enable it before continuing. Prefer a narrow exception for verified game files over a permanent shutdown of security software.
If the game hangs on the 24 Entertainment logo
The official FAQ suggests installing the .NET and 64-bit Visual C++ environments for this particular symptom. Microsoft download pages and package names can change, so obtain the current supported packages directly from Microsoft .NET downloads and Microsoft’s supported Visual C++ Redistributable downloads. Avoid third-party driver or runtime download sites. Restart Windows after installation if prompted, then try launching the game again.

If it launches but crashes or runs unreliably
Check system compatibility and graphics drivers
The FAQ recommends checking whether the PC meets the game’s configuration requirements and updating the graphics driver. The current official download page reviewed for this guide did not expose a complete minimum or recommended PC requirements table, so no specific graphics card or hardware threshold can be confirmed here. Check NARAKA’s current official information and your GPU manufacturer’s driver page rather than relying on an old requirements list.
If a graphics-driver update is failing or the problem persists, the FAQ suggests uninstalling and reinstalling the driver with a clean installation. Because driver-removal procedures vary by GPU and Windows setup, use the manufacturer’s instructions; do not remove unrelated drivers as a first step.

Interpret the Wanchu water-rendering notice narrowly
NARAKA’s July 2, 2026 update notes say older GPUs or integrated graphics below minimum specification may show water-display bugs on the new Wanchu map, and that the publisher was working on a fix. This is a specific rendering issue, not evidence that older hardware generally causes crashes or that a particular GPU upgrade will solve a launch problem. If your issue is limited to water rendering on Wanchu, check current official updates for a status change.
Memory and unusual legacy advice
The 2021 FAQ also mentions clearing memory and says: “We advise all players to turn on the Windows Virtual Memory settings to avoid lag or flashback issues in game.” This is historical publisher guidance, not a current guarantee or a required fix. Avoid changing paging-file settings unless you understand the Windows setting and have a reason to do so.

The same FAQ mentions checking for a sound-card driver through driver-management software and uninstalling it if present. This is unusual, dated advice rather than a routine troubleshooting step. Do not remove a sound driver simply because the game crashes; contact official support first if you are considering it and are unsure what the driver does.

If the relevant checks do not resolve the problem, the official FAQ directs players to email [email protected] or use NARAKA’s official community channels. Include your launcher, Windows version, when the failure occurs, any error message, recent changes, and the steps you have already tried. This helps distinguish a launch failure from a logo stall or an in-game crash.

What these steps can—and cannot—tell you
The publisher FAQ, dated August 11, 2021, documents possible checks, not confirmed fixes for every current PC configuration. No reviewed official source publishes a crash-resolution rate or identifies one cause behind all launch and loading failures. If your actual problem is lag or disconnections rather than the client failing to open or crashing, treat it as a separate network issue; the publisher’s older troubleshooting FAQ does not establish that network optimization will fix a crash.
