Is this the current NASCAR Cup driver lineup?
No. This is the lineup in a game roster announcement dated August 5, 2025, not a season-neutral or continuously updated real-world entry list. For current real-world participation, use NASCAR’s Cup Series driver directory, which reflects the changing season. Game roster announcements can also differ from later game builds if updates or downloadable content change the available drivers.
How the roster fits into NASCAR 25
NASCAR’s NASCAR 25 official game page describes a game spanning Cup, Xfinity, Craftsman Truck and ARCA Menards, with more than 150 officially licensed drivers across those four series. That figure is for the game as a whole, not the 45 Cup entries in the roster table. The page also lists 40-player online multiplayer, customization for cars, firesuits, helmets and haulers, and labels the game “Digital Download Only.”

Roster entries and game ratings are different
A driver’s presence in the roster tells you that the driver is listed for the game’s Cup Series; it does not state how strong that driver is in gameplay. NASCAR.com’s October 14, 2025 NASCAR 25 driver ratings article publishes a separate layer of game ratings, including William Byron at 100 overall, Joey Logano at 100 on superspeedways, Denny Hamlin at 100 on speedways and concrete, Christopher Bell at 100 on short-intermediates, and Shane van Gisbergen at 100 on road courses. These are game ratings, not real-world performance statistics.
