The PS5 and PS4 game named in the delisting report is NBA 2K25. Push Square reported on October 5, 2026, that 2K Sports will remove it from the PlayStation Store on October 30. That storefront date has not been confirmed on 2K’s official online-services status page, which does confirm that the game’s online services are scheduled to remain available through December 31, 2026.
Which PS5 game is being delisted in October 2026?
It is NBA 2K25, released for PS5 and PS4 on September 6, 2024, according to 2K Support’s online-services status page. Push Square reported that the PlayStation Store delisting is scheduled for October 30, 2026. That date comes from secondary reporting; the official 2K status page does not state a PlayStation Store removal date. Push Square’s report is the source for the October 30 date.

When do NBA 2K25’s online services end?
2K Support lists NBA 2K25 online features and services as scheduled to end on December 31, 2026. Push Square describes the shutdown as beginning January 1, 2027; the official status page’s wording is that service remains scheduled through December 31. This is a service-retirement schedule, not the reported Store removal date, so the two dates describe different things.
Can you still play NBA 2K25 after the servers shut down?
Some offline modes are listed by 2K as playable: Play Now, MyNBA/MyLeague/MyGM, 2KU/Learn 2K, MyWNBA and The W. 2K cautions that features requiring its servers will be unavailable. The offline-mode list does not establish that every feature or piece of content within those modes will work without a connection.

Online play and online modes will not be available after the scheduled service retirement. Push Square reproduces a publisher statement saying MyCareer and MyTeam will no longer be available and players will no longer be able to earn Virtual Currency (VC). It also says that multiplayer, Online Leagues and community sharing require a connection to 2K servers and will be unavailable. The statement is attributed to the publisher, without a named individual speaker.
Should you buy NBA 2K25 before it leaves the Store?
Whether it makes sense depends on how you intend to play. If your main reason to buy is MyCareer, MyTeam, multiplayer or another server-dependent feature, the scheduled service cutoff is important: buying before the Store removal does not extend those services. If you want the listed offline modes, check the game’s requirements and the specific features you care about rather than assuming all mode content will be available offline.

A physical copy is another way to look for the exact game, but stock and availability have not been verified. A disc does not extend online services or change 2K’s scheduled retirement date.
