Insider Gaming counted 45 games, while Games Outbreak’s event listing says 43; the available coverage does not resolve the difference. This is a post-event recap, and a showcase appearance does not necessarily mean a game was first announced there.
What the showcase included
The broadcast was creator-led and focused on discovery across indie, AA, and AAA games. Games Outbreak reproduced the event description as: “The New Game+ Showcase is a creator-led games showcase designed to put authentic excitement back at the center of game reveals.” Windows Central reported that developers did not pay for a slot; that is the outlet’s account of the event model, not an independently audited finding.
Coverage described a mix of new reveals, interviews, updates, trailers, and previously shown material. For example, Windows Central reported that an earlier Atomic Heart DLC #4 teaser was replayed. Treat each segment as a record of what was shown, not proof that its information was exclusive or that a release plan remains current.
The event was scheduled for 1 p.m. Pacific / 4 p.m. Eastern on YouTube, Twitch, X, TikTok, and Instagram, according to Windows Central’s January 7 pre-event guide, updated January 8. Insider Gaming also named those platforms in its post-event account. Current replay availability across those services has not been established here.

- Grounded 2: Its segment discussed additional insects and craftable or usable items, and showed a ridable ladybug buggy mount.
- The Division 2: Developers showed a winter-themed Survivors extraction mode and confirmed The Division 3 was in development, according to the coverage. It also mentioned a mobile project inspired by the first game.
- Towerborne: January coverage described an overhaul and a planned full launch on February 26, 2026. That date has passed; check its current listing for the actual release state.
- Core Keeper: Void & Voltage: The segment covered an update announced for January 28, 2026, including a new biome, weapons, and craftable items. The announcement alone does not confirm the update’s present status.
- Crimson Desert: A developer interview discussed the open world, combat, crafting, and puzzles. The January report stated a March 19 release date; confirm current platforms and release information with the game’s official listing.
- Prologue: Go Wayback!: Windows Central reported that Brendan “PLAYERUNKNOWN” Greene discussed procedural world generation and survival systems. At the time of that coverage, the game was in Early Access and had a demo.
- Atomic Heart DLC #4: Windows Central said the showcase replayed an earlier teaser, illustrating that inclusion in the broadcast did not necessarily mean a first reveal.
