Sony announced nine games for the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium Game Catalog in December 2025, plus one separately listed Premium Classic. Most were scheduled for December 16; Skate Story arrived earlier, on December 8. The lineup included games for PS5 only and games for both PS5 and PS4.
When the December 2025 games were available
Sony Interactive Entertainment published the lineup on December 10, 2025. Its announcement said the Game Catalog titles would be available December 16, with one exception: Skate Story, which entered the service December 8. Sony’s Adam Michel, Senior Director, Content Acquisition & Operations, stated: “All of these will be available to play December 16, aside from Skate Story, which released into the service December 8.” Sony’s announcement cautioned that Game Catalog and Premium/Deluxe lineups may differ by region and recommended checking the PlayStation Store on release day.

Sony’s platform labels identify the supported console generation for each entry, so check the game’s PlayStation Store listing if you need to confirm compatibility for a particular console or region.
