Metacritic’s page snapshot crawled in September 2026 showed a 91 Metascore from 10 critic reviews and an 8.8 user score from 1,619 ratings. Its displayed critic distribution was 10 positive, zero mixed, and zero negative. Player reactions are less uniform about the game’s structure. Some object to replaying routes and continuing to see the wider story; others value the endings, characters, and music. Whether the repeated play feels rewarding depends on how much you enjoy revisiting a story from changing perspectives.

For a newcomer, the edition is a convenient way to get the base game and named DLC together, with extra cosmetics determined by platform. For an existing owner, compare the cost of this edition with the DLC and bonuses you do not already have. The edition’s strongest case is convenience; a second purchase is harder to justify if you mainly want the base game again.

Its listed Xbox One and Windows download version is BECOME AS GODS Edition; the Nintendo Switch release is The End of YoRHa Edition.
