Nintendo Canada’s reported Black Friday offers were for November 2025 and have expired. They included discounts on selected Switch games, some amiibo and Samsung microSD Express cards. As of October 8, 2026, Best Buy Canada says its Black Friday sale returns in November, but the sources available do not confirm Nintendo’s 2026 products or prices.
What Nintendo’s 2025 Black Friday promotion included
MobileSyrup reported on November 10, 2025, that selected retailers would discount games starting November 20. The prices below are historical Canadian promotional prices, not current offers.
| Reported 2025 price | Games |
|---|---|
| $59.99 CAD |
|
| $54.99 CAD |
|
The report also said a handful of amiibo would be discounted by up to $15, but it did not name the figures. Other Nintendo eShop games were expected to go on sale from November 20; the report characterized these as likely third-party titles, without providing a confirmed game list. MobileSyrup’s November 10, 2025 report is the source for these announced offers.
Storage offer: Samsung microSD Express cards
The 2025 report said some stores would discount Samsung microSD Express cards by up to $25, starting November 30, 2025. That was a limited historical offer, not a current price. Card format matters for Switch 2: Nintendo says the console uses microSD Express cards for additional storage. See Nintendo’s Switch 2 launch announcement for that compatibility detail.

Were there Switch 2 console discounts?
The report listed two $699 CAD Switch 2 bundles, one with Mario Kart World and one with Pokémon Legends: Z-A. It described these as bundles already available on store shelves, not new holiday bundles. It also mentioned a Nintendo Switch Sports bundle at $419 CAD. These are reported 2025 prices and should not be read as current listings or confirmed 2026 deals. The report’s expectation of no Switch 2 price cut was an inference, not an announced Nintendo policy.
What is confirmed for Black Friday 2026?
As of October 8, 2026, Best Buy Canada’s Nintendo Black Friday page says, “Our Black Friday Sale returns in November, 2026,” and groups Nintendo products under consoles, games and accessories. It does not establish which Nintendo products will be discounted or at what prices. The sources reviewed also do not confirm a 2026 participating-retailer list or specific Nintendo Canada offers.
