When was the June 2024 Nintendo Direct?
The general Nintendo Direct was scheduled for Tuesday, June 18, 2024. Nintendo published the announcement on June 17, the day before the broadcast. Nintendo of Denmark’s announcement gave the broadcast time as 16:00 in Denmark.

That is a Denmark-local time, not a universal time for every viewer. Check the time difference for your location if converting it to another time zone.
What was the presentation expected to cover?
Nintendo said the presentation would focus on Nintendo Switch games scheduled for the second half of 2024. The announcement named no specific games, so it did not promise any particular reveal.

How long was it expected to run?
Nintendo described the planned presentation as approximately 40 minutes. This was the announced estimate, not a measured runtime.
Was the Switch successor part of the announcement?
No. Nintendo explicitly said there would be no mention of the Nintendo Switch successor during this presentation. The June event was a general Nintendo Direct; Nintendo’s official news archive lists a separate Indie World Showcase and Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase on August 27, 2024. Those later broadcasts were distinct events.
