There was no general Nintendo discount code for May 2026 supported by Nintendo’s official guidance. Nintendo Support says it does not offer codes for Nintendo Store purchases or coupons for purchases from outside retailers. A separate Nintendo eShop sale ran in Singapore from May 27 through June 9, 2026, but that was a regional sale on select games—not a universal coupon.
Does Nintendo offer discount codes?
Nintendo Support’s US-focused guidance says, “There are currently no discount codes available to apply to purchases on Nintendo Store.” It also says Nintendo does not provide coupons for purchases at retailers such as GameStop. That does not rule out a retailer running its own promotion; such an offer is a retailer deal, not a Nintendo-issued coupon. Nintendo Support: discount codes and coupons

What happened in May 2026?
Nintendo’s Singapore news page announced an eShop sale on select digital games from May 27 through June 9, 2026. The offer was limited to the Singapore region and those dates; it does not establish that a worldwide Nintendo code or sale was available. The sale has ended. Nintendo Singapore’s sale announcement
Promotional download codes are different from coupons
Some eligible eShop purchases may come with a promotional download code. Nintendo describes these as purchase-associated promotions, not general codes to reduce the price of any order. When a purchase qualifies, the code appears in the purchase history and the emailed receipt. Nintendo Support: viewing eShop purchase history

Ways to save on Nintendo games and hardware
- Check official sales: Look at the eShop and Nintendo Store deals pages for offers currently listed in your country. Prices and dates change; a past promotion should not be assumed to remain available. Nintendo identifies sales as an alternative to discount codes in its coupon guidance.
- Check My Nintendo: Nintendo says select digital titles may have My Nintendo discounts. Availability depends on the title and account.
- Consider refurbished products: Nintendo says refurbished physical games and hardware are sometimes offered through its Store for less than new products. Check the listing’s condition and current price before buying.
- Compare retailer offers: Retailers may set their own markdowns and terms. Compare the final price, including shipping, and check the offer’s dates, stock, and eligibility. Do not mistake a retailer-specific code for a Nintendo coupon.
- Look for legitimate eShop card discounts: Nintendo eShop cards add balance to a Nintendo Account; a discounted card may reduce what you effectively pay for a later purchase, but card discounts are not guaranteed. Nintendo’s card information is US-account specific, so check country and account-region terms before purchasing. Nintendo US retail offers and eShop card information
Check these details before using an offer
- Does the offer apply to your country and Nintendo Account region?
- Is it for a digital or physical product, and does it include the edition you want?
- What is the total price after shipping, and when does the offer end?
- Are stock, membership, account, or other eligibility conditions involved?
- Is the code issued by Nintendo for a specific purchase, or by a retailer under its own terms?
Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
