Nintendo of America’s Customer Appreciation Sale ran from September 12 through September 26, 2026. It was announced on September 10, 2026, and it advertised 30% off dozens of Nintendo Switch digital games and bundles, with additional savings on select physical games, downloadable content, accessories, amiibo, and apparel. The sale has ended, so none of these discounts should be treated as current.
What the 30% discount covered
The headline figure applied to Nintendo Switch digital games and bundles. Nintendo described the list as “dozens” of titles but did not publish a full itemized list in its announcement. The other categories were advertised with “additional savings,” and the announcement did not state a percentage for them.

Where the offers were available
Nintendo listed three sales channels:
- Nintendo eShop, for digital purchases
- Nintendo Store
- Participating retail locations
Nintendo warned that products and offers could vary by retailer and sales channel. The announcement does not say which retailers took part, so a discount seen at one store is not evidence of what another store offered.

Nintendo’s stated reason: tariff-related refunds
In the announcement, Nintendo of America said the sale was made possible in part by tariff-related refunds, and that the company had absorbed most tariff-related costs. The statement reads:
“The Customer Appreciation Sale is our way of saying thank you to Nintendo players for their continued support and is made possible in part by tariff-related refunds.”

Nintendo also called the sale “one of our largest promotions ever.” That is the company’s own description. No independent ranking supports it, and the announcement does not give a refund amount or any further breakdown of the financials.
What the announcement does not establish
- A complete list of discounted titles, bundles, or products.
- Pricing at individual retailers.
- Stock levels or whether any item remains available at a sale price.
- The size of the tariff-related refunds or how they were split across the sale.
Prices after September 26, 2026
The discounts were time-limited, and the announcement does not say whether any sale prices were extended. To find current prices, check the Nintendo eShop listing or the Nintendo Store product page for the specific title or item. Retailer listings may differ from Nintendo’s own prices, and any price shown should be read as the current price, not a continuation of the September promotion.
