Nintendo lists a U.S. Switch 2 + Mario Kart World bundle for $549.99, but its “while supplies last” notice does not verify current stock at any particular retailer.
Switch has passed the Nintendo DS in reported hardware sales
Nintendo’s Dedicated Video Game Sales Units table reports 156.59 million Nintendo Switch hardware units and 154.02 million Nintendo DS hardware units as of June 30, 2026. On those figures, Switch leads by 2.57 million units and is Nintendo’s best-selling hardware platform in the table.

The same table reports 1,561.95 million Switch software units, compared with 948.76 million for DS. Software totals count games sold, not consoles, so they should not be confused with the hardware milestone. Nintendo also reports 23.68 million Switch 2 hardware units as of June 30, 2026; that cumulative sales figure is not a measure of how many systems retailers currently have available.
What Switch 2 bundles Nintendo lists in the U.S.

Nintendo’s stated savings comparison for the Mario Kart World offer is based on buying the system, game, and membership separately, and Nintendo says savings may vary. That is not a guaranteed discount against every retailer’s prices.
“While supplies last” is not a live stock report
Nintendo directs customers to participating retailers and says the Mario Kart World offer is available while supplies last. That wording establishes the offer’s condition, not whether a particular store has units for delivery or pickup today. No retailer-specific inventory is confirmed here, so the headline claim that bundles are “still in stock” should not be read as verified availability.
