What the 2025 recap shows
Nintendo says the recap lets players explore games they played on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2, see more detail about how they played, choose a favorite game of the year, and share their gaming story. It also offers a look back at Nintendo Switch history, reaching as far back as when the player began playing.
Insider Gaming reported examples of more specific statistics, including games played, time spent on the system, most-played games, favored game types, and a month-by-month breakdown. Those are examples reported by a secondary source; Nintendo’s announcement describes the recap more broadly as games played and details about how users played.

- Dock that supports 4K when connected to a compatible TV*

If your recap is missing or looks incomplete
A January 2, 2026 report by Nintendo Life, published before the recap launched and attributed to Nintendo’s website, highlighted two optional usage settings: device-data collection and processing usage information to customize services, offers, and recommendations. It also said marketing email preferences were separate. That earlier report does not establish that changing either setting now guarantees access to a recap or restores missing activity.
If you are troubleshooting, check the current Nintendo Account interface under Privacy and Other Settings > Usage Information and review the available permissions. Labels or account guidance may have changed since Nintendo Life’s report; use Nintendo’s current instructions rather than assuming that a particular setting will resolve the issue.
