The Shrine’s Battle Scroll supports replay, but official sources do not identify a highest-paying route or establish a best boss, build, or gold-per-hour rate.
How to choose a gold-farming route
Favor a repeatable activity that fits your current character over a route that is theoretically lucrative but slow or risky for you. The official Nioh 3 manual’s Making Progress section says completed missions and side quests can be replayed from the Shrine menu’s Battle Scroll. It also describes fast travel to unlocked shrines, which can reduce the time spent getting back to an activity.

Compare possible routes using these practical factors:
- Clear time: How quickly can you finish the activity, including the approach and reset?
- Consistency and risk: Can you complete it without frequent deaths or long recovery downtime?
- Loot volume: Does it produce surplus equipment you are willing to sell?
- Other progress: Does the activity also help with another goal, such as mission progression or gathering equipment?
A secondary guide from Nerd’s Chalk, dated February 12, 2026, recommends short enemy loops and bosses that can be defeated quickly and safely. Treat those as general suggestions, not proof of a best route: it provides no independently verified comparison of gold yields.

Can you repeat bosses for gold?
You can replay completed missions and side quests through the Battle Scroll, so a boss encounter within a replayable activity may be repeated. Whether that is a good gold farm depends on your clear speed, risk, and the value of the loot you obtain; the official manual does not establish that boss repeats pay better than other activities.
If a boss takes a long time or causes frequent deaths, a shorter enemy loop or another replayable activity may be more practical. Compare your own runs by completion time and usable surplus loot rather than relying on an unverified gold-per-hour claim.

Gear and build priorities for faster clears
There is no confirmed universal gold-farming build. Nerd’s Chalk suggests area-control or area-damage tools and drop-related effects, but the guidance is not an official ranking or a measured build comparison. Choose equipment and skills that help you clear quickly while staying alive.
The official manual notes that Samurai Style and Ninja Style have separate equipment sets. Account for both if you switch styles while farming; equipment and skill setups can also be saved later in progression. A strong setup for one style does not automatically cover the other.

Sell gear or disassemble it?
Choose based on what you need. The official Eternal Rift section of the manual says merchants buy and sell equipment, and purchases require gold. The Blacksmith can disassemble equipment into smithing materials. Selling turns surplus gear into gold; disassembling turns it into crafting resources. The manual does not state which option has greater overall value for a particular item.
- Sell surplus equipment when gold is the immediate priority.
- Disassemble equipment when you need smithing materials.
- Keep or review first anything unique, useful for another style, or potentially valuable to your build. Nerd’s Chalk also recommends caution around useful consumables and materials; do not treat that secondary advice as a rule that every item should be sold or kept.
Why exact sale prices are not included
Team Ninja’s official update search result indicates that the sale price of Divine equipment has been adjusted, but the update details available here do not establish the patch version, date, direction, or current values. Sale prices can therefore be balance-sensitive; avoid relying on fixed figures unless you have checked the applicable current patch notes.
