To find what you have missed in Nioh 3’s Warring States era, first raise Exploration Level in the relevant area, then use the newly revealed map markers and compass to sweep each sub-region. PowerPyx’s February 5, 2026 full-map guide counts 363 collectibles across 11 Warring States sub-regions; Push Square’s February 6 guide counts 163 across a narrower set of collectible categories. Those totals describe different scopes, not necessarily conflicting counts.
How to find the remaining Warring States collectibles
- Open the world map and inspect each sub-region. The official Nioh 3 manual explains that the map records explored areas, shows unlocked Shrines and Bodhisattva Statues, and allows fast travel to those unlocked locations. Map progress and Exploration Level are tracked by era and area, so check the Warring States sub-regions individually.
- Build Exploration Level before doing a full location-by-location checklist. PowerPyx recommends activating Shrines, completing Myths, capturing Enemy Bases, and clearing Lesser Crucibles. These activities advance exploration and make the map more useful for cleanup.
- At Exploration Level 4, look for the remaining collectible markers. PowerPyx reports that this level marks remaining collectibles; Insider Gaming also notes the Level 4 reveal behavior. Use the compass to navigate to markers rather than relying only on a static image.
- Use an external map to check categories or locations you still cannot identify. PowerPyx provides a full-world Warring States map image, Insider Gaming splits its large map into north and south sections, and Push Square supplies regional map images and counts for its listed categories.
The official manual says raising Exploration Level reveals more detailed map information and increases core stats. PowerPyx reports that Level 2 grants permanent Attack and Defense increases; treat that specific level reward as PowerPyx’s guide information, not a general manual statement.

What the Warring States map totals include

| Category in PowerPyx’s legend | Count |

| Named Shrines and Bodhisattva Statues | 156 |
These are the category counts in PowerPyx’s Warring States full-map guide, published February 5, 2026. The guide labels its combined total as 363; do not read that figure as a count of only the traditional pickup-style collectibles, since its accounting also includes objectives and named Shrine and Bodhisattva Statue locations. See PowerPyx’s full map and category legend.

Why another guide says 163 collectibles
Push Square’s February 6, 2026 Warring States map guide reports 163 collectibles and covers Shrines, Hot Springs, Scampusses, Chijiko, Kodama, Six Jizo, Enemy Bases, and Masters. That is a different category scope from PowerPyx’s 363-item full-map accounting, which also includes Lesser Crucibles, Crucible Spikes, Crucible Wraiths, and named Shrine and Bodhisattva Statue entries in its legend. Compare the categories each guide tracks before using either total as a completion target.
Push Square provides map images and regional counts for its listed types: view its Warring States collectible guide. For a large visual map divided into northern and southern sections, see Insider Gaming’s map overview.

What Shrines, statues, and merits do on the map
The official manual distinguishes unlocked Shrines and Bodhisattva Statues as map locations and says fast travel is available to unlocked locations. This makes them useful navigation points as well as map entries: unlock them as you explore, then use the world map to return to areas that still show collectible markers.
The manual also says Kodama Merit and Jizo Merit can be spent to acquire and enhance their respective blessings. It does not establish the individual effects of those blessings, so consult the in-game blessing descriptions when deciding how to spend merit.

Coverage and version caveat
The cited maps and counts are guide-specific snapshots dated February 2026. The sources do not establish a current game version, patch history, or that the pictured locations are verified against every later patch. Use the in-game map and exploration markers as your primary cleanup check, and treat external images as visual aids rather than a guarantee of patch-independent coordinates.
