Absolutely,” he said at a Gamergy Q&A in Puerto Rico. But North also said he has not heard anything about a new game, so his enthusiasm is not confirmation that one is in development.
What Nolan North said about returning as Nathan Drake
Asked at a Gamergy Q&A in Puerto Rico in late August 2026 whether he would return for another Uncharted, North gave an emphatic yes. As reported by Push Square, he said: “110 per cent. Absolutely.” He added: “I think it would be one of the biggest games ever if they decided to do it. It just depends if Sony wants to make money.”
North’s “biggest games ever” line is his opinion about the prospect, not a sales prediction backed by figures. His point was that the decision rests with Sony.
Is a new Uncharted game confirmed?
No. North said he had not heard anything about a new game. His answer tells us he would be willing to return; it does not establish that Sony or Naughty Dog has approved, announced, or begun developing a project, or that North has been cast in one. GamesRadar+ and GamingBolt also report his enthusiasm and lack of knowledge about a new entry.
