NVIDIA announced two GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER Founders Edition cards signed by founder and CEO Jensen Huang, but the giveaway is over. HotHardware reported that entries closed at 5:00 p.m. Pacific on January 12, 2024, and NVIDIA planned to announce the winners on February 29, 2024. Those dates have passed; there is no current entry opportunity established here.
What NVIDIA gave away
The prizes were two signed Founders Edition GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER graphics cards—not two standard retail cards and not a general offer to win any RTX 4080 SUPER. NVIDIA described the promotion this way: “We have two Founders Edition GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER graphics cards signed by NVIDIA’s founder and CEO, Jensen Huang, that we’re giving away – one for our social channels, and one for CES attendees.” The announcement appeared in NVIDIA’s CES 2024 GeForce announcement.
How entries worked in 2024
GeForce social channels
One card was allocated through NVIDIA GeForce social channels. Participants were directed to follow those channels and follow the prompts and instructions in the promotion rules. This describes the historical entry route; it is not an active way to enter now.
CES 2024 attendees
The second card was for CES attendees, who could scan QR codes at participating partner locations. NVIDIA named GIGABYTE in North Hall (#9637) and Razer in Central Hall (#15054) as public QR-code locations. Visitors to invite-only Acer, ASUS, HP, and MSI meeting rooms could also participate. These were CES 2024 locations and should not be treated as current event information.

Deadline and winner announcement
HotHardware’s January 10, 2024 article reported a 5:00 p.m. Pacific entry deadline on January 12, 2024, and said NVIDIA planned to announce two randomly drawn winners on February 29, 2024. Both dates are historical. The full eligibility rules and legal terms were not reviewed here, so no claims about eligibility, odds, shipping, or taxes should be inferred from this summary.
The signed prize versus a retail RTX 4080 SUPER
The giveaway item was a signed Founders Edition card. A standard GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER may be available through retail channels, but buying a retail model does not make it signed or connect it to the promotion. NVIDIA’s launch announcement listed a $999 starting price and a January 31, 2024 release date; those are launch-era figures, not current pricing or availability advice.
Rank #2
- Powered by the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 (16GB) graphics processing unit (GPU) with a 2.51 GHz boost clock speed
- PCI Express 4.0 and earlier PCI Express 3.0. Offers compatibility with a range of systems
- 9,728 NVIDIA CUDA Cores, 2.51 GHz Boost Clock, Dedicated Ray Tracing Cores
- Microsoft DirectX 12 Ultimate, Vulkan RT APIs
For product context, NVIDIA positioned the RTX 4080 SUPER for 4K fully ray-traced gaming, 3D rendering, and demanding generative-AI applications. HotHardware’s January 2024 article listed 10,240 CUDA cores, 16 GB of memory at 23 Gbps, a 256-bit memory bus, and 736 GB/s of memory bandwidth. These specifications are attributed to HotHardware rather than presented here as an independently verified current product specification.
