How to read the trickiest group
The purple set is a word-start pattern rather than a set of complete synonyms: CASH, HAZE, MAC, and PEC begin the names of culinary nuts. The green set uses different expressions for taking care of a bill: FOOT, PAY, SETTLE, and TAKE CARE OF.
How Connections works
