How to play Connections and find this puzzle

Connections presents 16 words and asks players to sort them into four groups of four based on a shared relationship. The groups are color-coded yellow, green, blue, and purple; words can seem to fit more than one category, so look for the precise connection that accounts for all four words. The New York Times Help Center describes it as “a word game that challenges players to find themes between words.”
