Need a nudge for Thursday, June 13, 2024’s NYT Connections? Puzzle #368 asks you to sort 16 words into four groups of four. Start with the hints below; the category names and complete groups are farther down, so stop before them if you want to solve it yourself.

The June 13 puzzle’s four clues, from the least revealing to the most specific category prompts, were:

- Green: Antonyms for a complete and utter failure.

The “SMASH THAT LIKE BUTTON” distraction
Autaski’s solution discussion points out that words from different groups can be read together as “SMASH THAT LIKE BUTTON.” It is a possible red herring noted by that author, not a confirmed explanation of the puzzle’s intended construction.
