- Yellow: Keen readers will know these.
- Green: Who’s a pretty feline?
- Blue: Worry.
- Purple: Words containing something you eat.

Blue: nervousness, in the singular
Butterfly, jitter, nerve, and willy complete familiar expressions about nervousness: “butterflies,” “the jitters,” “getting on someone’s nerves,” and “the willies.” The category uses the singular forms shown in the grid.
Purple: starting with vegetables
Each word begins with a vegetable name: beet in BEETHOVEN, corn in CORNUCOPIA, kale in KALEIDOSCOPE, and pea in PEACOCK.
