How to approach a Connections board
Connections asks players to sort sixteen words into four groups of four based on a shared link. A word can appear to fit more than one category, so consider the whole set rather than locking in the first plausible association. According to Forbes, players can shuffle the board and the game ends after four mistakes. TechRadar describes it as playable through NYT Games on desktop or mobile; current access terms are not established here.

Watch for overlapping meanings
This board includes words that can suggest more than one connection. For example, MINT can refer to a color or an amount of money, while PEARL can be a valuable object or a piece of wisdom. Those overlaps make it useful to test each proposed group against all four words before submitting it.
