Strands guidance describes non-theme words as a way to earn hints: each three such words reveal a theme word. Letters can connect in any direction, without reusing or crossing them. This is game #95, dated June 6, 2024. TechRadar’s Marc McLaren published his guide on June 5, 2024, ahead of the puzzle date. Its note that Strands was in beta and playable on the NYT Games site reflects that period, not necessarily the game’s present status. McLaren described this as the easiest Strands puzzle of his week and said he solved it without hints; that is his personal account, not an independent difficulty rating.
