Clue words to unlock in-game hints
If you want the game to reveal its own hints before seeing the answers, find these six non-theme words:
- COAT
- RUNG
- LUNG
- PANT
- HEAT
- HEAL
Try Hard Guides describes Strands’ hint system as granting a highlighted theme-word hint for every three acceptable words of at least four letters that are not theme answers. It also says letters can be traced in any direction without reusing or crossing them. These are mechanics as described by that guide.
Spangram hint
The spangram clue is “Not so cuddly.” It runs from the left edge at the fifth row to the right edge at the fourth row.
