How Strands works
Strands presents a 6×8 letter grid. Connect adjacent letters horizontally, vertically, or diagonally to form words. The spangram touches two opposite sides of the board. Finding three valid non-theme words of at least four letters earns an in-game hint that highlights a theme word. These mechanics are described by NYT Game Solver, a third-party guide.
