How the Strands clues work
Strands asks players to find theme words that fill the board. The spangram describes the theme and touches two opposite sides; it can contain two words. Parade’s explanation of the rules says that finding three non-theme words earns a hint that reveals letters of a theme word. These hints can help narrow the search without giving away the full list.
