- Theme clue: “Witch way?”
- Words to try for an in-game hint: WOOD, CRAM, RANT, ROAR, DIME, and NATION. These starter words are reported to unlock the puzzle’s hint system.
- Spangram: It has seven letters. Its path reaches the top edge at column 3 and the bottom edge at column 4.
Strands puzzles appear at midnight in each time zone, according to TechRadar. Depending on where and when you play, “today’s” puzzle may therefore refer to a different daily board.

The spangram is WIZARDRY. The six theme words are:
- AMULET
- POTION
- CHARM
- WAND
- INCANTATION
- CAULDRON

How the spangram fits
WIZARDRY names the shared idea behind the six answers. In Strands, the spangram describes the theme and connects opposite sides of the board. Forbes’ October 26, 2025 explanation describes the game as a word search on a six-by-eight letter grid, with theme words highlighted in blue and the spangram in yellow; those are general gameplay details, not a verification of the current interface or access terms.
