Its theme clue is “I’m in lobe,” a pun pointing toward earring styles. Below are a gentle hint, letter-pair clues, and then the full answer key—stop before the section marked Full spoilers if you want to solve it yourself.
Today’s Strands hint
The theme is earring styles. A second nudge, reported by Forbes, is “Ear we go.” The puzzle is Strands #429.
Letter-pair clues
Use these first-letter pairs to narrow down the theme words: TE, EA, CH, CL, HO, PL, CU, ST. Forbes lists them in order of first appearance across the grid, with EA corresponding to the spangram; other guides present the pairs in a different order.
How Strands works
Strands is a word-search game played on a six-by-eight letter grid. Find words connected by the theme: letters can be joined vertically, horizontally, or diagonally, and a word can change direction. Theme words are highlighted blue. The spangram names the shared theme, connects two opposite sides of the grid, and is highlighted yellow. Finding three valid non-theme words of at least four letters unlocks an in-game hint that highlights letters in a theme word.
