How Strands works
Strands is a letter-grid puzzle. Connect letters to form theme words, and find a spangram that describes the theme and touches two opposite sides of the board. Strands Today describes the board as a 6×8 grid, with connections allowed horizontally, vertically or diagonally. Parade says that finding three non-theme words earns an in-game hint that reveals theme-word letters.
