What has changed in the remaster?
Nintendo describes updates including more detailed character models, improved lip synchronization, sprinting, revised combat animations and hit reactions, an overhauled third-person perspective, a redesigned leveling system, interface updates and newly recorded dialogue. Nintendo Australia says, “The remaster uses Unreal Engine 5’s vast suite of tools to significantly enhance the visuals and performance.” That is Nintendo’s description, not an independent performance benchmark.

It includes the base game, Shivering Isles, Knights of the Nine, and the Fighter’s Stronghold, Spell Tomes, Vile Lair, Mehrune’s Razor, The Thieves Den, Wizard’s Tower, The Orrery and Horse Armor Pack content. A code provides digital Akatosh and Mehrunes Dagon armor, weapons and horse armor sets, plus a digital artbook and soundtrack app.
The disc is not a complete, install-free copy: Bethesda says the full game files and extras require an additional internet download. Once that initial download is complete, the game can be played offline.
