The latest official lag guidance for Once Human describes a specific mobile-client problem—not a confirmed game-wide server outage. If you installed the September 17, 2026 mobile client without first deleting the old client, the developer says to delete the current client and install the latest version from the App Store or the official website. That instruction is for players who match that installation history.
Is Once Human lagging for everyone?
As of October 8, 2026, the official notices available describe specific software-related lag cases, but do not confirm a current game-wide or region-wide server incident. The September 30, 2026 notice concerns a mobile installation condition; an earlier Android notice covered a separate issue that the developer said was resolved in December 2025.
The official Once Human announcement feed includes a September 30 bug-fix notice and a September 28 announcement for version 3.0.7. It also lists October 21, 2026 as the next update date; a scheduled update is not evidence of a lag fix or a live server-status report.
What should mobile players do?
In its September 30, 2026 bug-fix notice, the Once Human Development Team says that players who installed the new mobile client released September 17 without deleting the old client first “may experience abnormal lag during gameplay.” For players who match that condition, the stated remedy is to remove the current game client and install the latest one from the App Store or official website. See the official September 30 bug-fix notice for the instruction.

- 40 Gbps 2000 Mhz High Speed: The Cat 8 ethernet cable support max. 40 Gbps data transfer and 2000 MHz Brandwith, ideal for gaming and streaming, greatly improving upload and download speed, sound, image and resolution quality
- Excellent Anti-interference: The ethernet cable comes with 4 shielded foiled twisted pairs (F/FTP), pure copper core and gold-plated RJ45 connector, reducing interference, noise and crosstalk, making network speed faster and more stable
- Marvelous Durability: Internet cable wrapped with quality cotton braided cord, which makes the LAN cable stronger and more durable. The test proves that this internet cable can be bent at least 10000 times without broken, very suitable for long-term use
- PoE Supported: All lengths of ethernet cord can support the PoE power supply function except 65ft. You don't need additional power supply when installing a PoE camera, which is very convenient and safe
- Wide Compatibility: With the RJ45 Connector, network cable can be perfectly compatible with computers, laptops, modems, routers, PS5, X-Box and other networking devices. It can also be fully backward compatible with Cat7, Cat6e, Cat6, Cat5e, Cat5
This is not a general instruction to reinstall the game on every platform or for every kind of lag. The notice does not establish that an individual player’s symptoms have this cause unless the platform and installation history match.

These symptoms can feel similar while pointing to different parts of the experience. Describing the specific one helps support assess the report; the distinctions alone do not diagnose the cause.

- Cat 8 Speed, Cat 5/5e Value Enjoy Cat 8 Ethernet cable performance at a Cat 5/5e-level value. With up to 40Gbps speed and 2000MHz bandwidth, this high speed internet cable delivers more bandwidth than standard Cat 5 and Cat 5e cables, helping support smooth gaming, streaming, video calls, large file transfers and everyday wired network use.
- 40Gbps Speed, Wide Compatibility This Cat 8 Ethernet cable supports up to 40Gbps data transfer and 2000MHz bandwidth for fast, reliable internet performance. Standard RJ45 connectors are backward compatible with Cat7, Cat6, Cat6a and Cat5e devices, including routers, modems, switches, gaming PCs, PS5, PS4, Xbox, smart TVs, laptops and printers.
- Stable U/FTP Shielding Each of the 4 twisted pairs is individually wrapped with aluminum foil to help reduce crosstalk, noise, and signal interference. Combined with RJ45 connectors on both ends, the U/FTP design helps maintain cleaner signal transmission for a stable and reliable wired network connection.
- Nylon Braided Durability The nylon braided jacket adds everyday durability while keeping the cable flexible and easy to route. Reinforced construction helps the cord handle bending, pulling and frequent plugging, making it a reliable choice for desks, gaming rooms, home offices and long-term network setups.
- 50ft Reach for More Setups The 50 ft length makes it easier to connect devices across rooms, along walls, under desks or around corners. Great for router-to-PC connections, modem-to-TV setups, gaming consoles, workstations, printers and other home network equipment that needs a longer Ethernet cable.
- Latency or delayed actions: Inputs or interactions take time to register, or other players appear to move late. Note whether the delay is constant or limited to certain times or areas.
- Stutter or falling frame rate: Motion becomes choppy or performance worsens after playing for a while. This is not, by itself, proof of high network latency.
- Slow loading: The game or content takes longer to load. This was part of the separate Android issue reported in 2025, but it is not the same as the September 2026 mobile-client condition.
For example, one Australia/OCE Reddit post from approximately December 2025 described latency rising from under 100 ms to 170–230 ms or higher alongside worsening frame rate after several minutes. Those were one player’s self-reported figures, not an official measurement or evidence of a current regional problem; replies described different experiences. The post does not establish a server migration, memory leak, or other cause. Read the community discussion.
What the older Android lag notice does—and does not—say
On December 9, 2025, the developer reported an increase in Android lag rates and attributed that issue to Android 16 restrictions that prevented some game content from updating correctly. The notice said the issue had been resolved in the latest update at that time and recommended installing the latest game package over the existing one. This was historical guidance for that Android problem, not a present-day explanation for lag on other platforms. See the December 9, 2025 bug-fix notice.

How to report persistent lag to Once Human support
If the mobile reinstall instruction does not apply or symptoms continue, send a report with enough detail for the team to distinguish a connection delay from a performance or loading problem. Include your platform, server or region, client version, when the issue began, and the symptom type. The September 30 notice lists these reporting routes:
