Operation: Seraph’s Shield is currently listed in Destiny 2’s Pinnacle Ops area, with Revision Zero and its associated catalyst and intrinsic rewards. The mission is an infiltration of Seraph Station built around Scanner, Operator, and Suppressor augments; follow each objective prompt to solve its room’s mechanic, then defeat Praksis the Defiled and upload the virus. Check the Director in game for current access requirements and reward details, which can change with updates.
How to access Operation: Seraph’s Shield
Bungie’s Update 9.7.0 moved the mission into Pinnacle Ops along with its associated weapon, catalyst, and intrinsic rewards. Bungie’s Director redesign material also lists it among Pinnacle Ops available in Monument of Triumph. Bungie fixed a Launch Center soft lock in Update 9.7.0 and later addressed an elevator issue in Update 9.7.0.3. Those older bugs should not be treated as intended steps in the mission.
What the Scanner, Operator, and Suppressor augments do
Scanner
Scanner helps identify the relevant terminal or object in a security puzzle. Use it to find the correct target, then interact with that target to advance the objective. The mission uses Scanner in escape-pod controls and later station sectors; the exact target varies by room.

Operator
Operator is used to activate designated red panels by shooting them. A visible panel is not necessarily active, so look for the objective’s cues and only assume a panel is relevant when the puzzle indicates it.
Suppressor
Suppressor is required during the final encounter’s shield sequence. Follow the augment objective to activate the drone sequence and expose the required target; use the on-screen prompt to track what to do next. These augments recur, but not every room uses the same sequence.

Operation: Seraph’s Shield walkthrough
- Infiltrate the launch facility. Follow the entry route and use Scanner interactions to advance through the access and escape-pod controls.
- Board Seraph Station. Continue through the station’s access puzzles, alternating Scanner and Operator interactions as the objective requires. For Operator panels, shoot the designated red targets rather than every panel in view.
- Complete the encounter and capture sequence. Progress through the encounter before continuing along the mission route; if damage stops advancing an encounter, check the active objective rather than continuing to fire at an immune target.
- Cross the station exterior. Follow the marked route through the exterior space-walk section to reach the next station area.
- Work through later station access near the Warsat Command Nexus. Use the Scanner or Operator interaction indicated by each objective to open the way forward.
- Defeat Praksis the Defiled. When the final encounter’s shield mechanic is active, use Suppressor as directed to complete the drone sequence and expose the required target. Resume damaging Praksis once the shield sequence is complete.
- Upload the virus. After the final fight, interact with the upload objective to finish the mission.
Boss guidance and preparation
The route includes an encounter before the capture sequence and a final fight against Praksis. The key progression cue is the objective: when damage no longer moves the encounter forward, complete the active mechanic. In the final fight, resolve the Suppressor sequence before expecting damage to progress again.
The available walkthrough material does not establish a tested best weapon loadout, a reliable solo completion time, or current difficulty tuning. Choose a build you can use comfortably, and let the activity’s current objective prompts guide the mechanics rather than relying on an assumed universal room pattern.

Bungie’s Update 9.7.0 identifies Revision Zero and its associated catalyst and intrinsic rewards as tied to Operation: Seraph’s Shield in Pinnacle Ops. The surfaced official notes do not enumerate a complete current loot table, so check the in-game reward panel for the exact items available to your character.
What the older reward description said
In an August 10, 2023 explanation of Exotic mission rewards, Bungie listed Revision Zero as the Exotic, with Season of the Seraph armor and craftable weapons in the legacy pool. That version described Normal or Legendary completions as granting a Deepsight weapon or pattern, intrinsic upgrades, and Legendary catalyst upgrades, and listed ownership of The Witch Queen or Season of the Seraph as a requirement. This is historical context, not a guarantee of today’s drop schedule or access rules: the mission has since moved into Pinnacle Ops and reward systems have changed.
