How the short introduced Kiriko
The video description frames Kiriko through two roles: “The protector of Kanezaka strikes again. Discover the two sides of Kiriko, the loving daughter and the deadly protector.” That is promotional copy from the official upload, not a quotation from a named speaker.
The focus connects her family life with her role as Kanezaka’s protector. In its September 20, 2022 profile, Xbox Wire says Kiriko grew up in Kanezaka, where her family had maintained the town shrine for generations, and describes her upbringing by her mother and grandmother.
