Blizzard has announced two new skins—Wuyang as Garou and Ashe as Hellish Blizzard—as well as the return of four skins from the first event. When does the One-Punch Man collab return to Overwatch?
Blizzard’s announcement sets the second run of the collaboration for October 16–29, 2026. The announcement describes the show as resuming with its third season. It does not confirm another event after October 29.
Which One-Punch Man skins are new or returning?
Blizzard identifies two new pairings and four returning cosmetics:

The collaboration’s premise is costume-inspired: Overwatch heroes take on the look of One-Punch Man characters while remaining recognizable as themselves. Overwatch game director Aaron Keller described the heroes as still looking and sounding like Overwatch characters on the battlefield (Blizzard’s explanation of the design approach). In a PlayStation Blog interview, Associate Director Aimee Dennett similarly described the heroes as cosplaying the anime’s characters, while Art Director Dion Rogers said the designs bring together both characters’ main aesthetics.

How can you get the Mumen Rider Soldier: 76 skin?
Blizzard says in-game event challenges can award the Mumen Rider Soldier: 76 skin and 15,000 Battle Pass XP. The 2026 announcement does not list the challenges, say how many are required, or explain any individual completion conditions. Check the in-game event challenge screen during the collaboration for the available tasks and progress.
Are the skins free, and how much do the returning skins cost?
The announced Mumen Rider skin and Battle Pass XP are challenge rewards. Blizzard has not stated prices, bundle contents, sale terms, or whether returning skins will be available individually for the 2026 event. The original 2023 event had shop bundles for Saitama-Doomfist, Genos-Genji, and Terrible Tornado-Kiriko, alongside a Mumen Rider challenge reward, but that earlier arrangement is not confirmation of this event’s shop listings or prices. The first collaboration ran from March 7 to April 6, 2023, according to Blizzard’s original event announcement. It introduced the Saitama-Doomfist, Genos-Genji, and Terrible Tornado-Kiriko shop bundles, with Mumen Rider-Soldier: 76 among the challenge rewards. That history explains why four earlier pairings are returning, but it does not establish the 2026 shop lineup.
Activision Blizzard’s March 7, 2023 press release described Overwatch 2 at that time as free-to-play and cross-platform, with Windows PC, Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch versions. Those are historical details, not confirmation of 2026 access, platform availability, or regional terms. The same release reported that the anime had sold more than 28 million copies in Japan; that is a company-reported figure from 2023, not a current global sales total.
