Yes, P.T. can now be played on a PC through an unofficial native port, but it is not a free, self-contained PC release. The port needs game files from a copy of the original PS4 teaser; its repository and installer do not include them. The project’s README describes it as “a native PC port of P.T., the 2014 PS4 teaser by Kojima Productions.”
What “P.T. on PC” means
The project, called P.T. PC Port, runs the original game’s levels, models, textures, audio, scripts and cutscenes on PC by reading them from the player’s own PS4 game files. That makes it different from a conventional PC release: downloading the port alone does not give you the game.

It is also distinct from fan-made recreations or remakes. Those are separate projects, and the available information does not support a quality comparison. This port is specifically designed to use files from the original PS4 version.
Is the PC port free, and what do you need?
The project’s code is MIT-licensed, but that does not include permission or a source for the original game data. Its README says the repository and installer contain none of Konami’s or Kojima Productions’ assets. The project’s license should not be read as authorization to obtain or redistribute those files.

The README says the port was built and tested with the US CUSA01127 release. It says European and Japanese releases install with a caveat, while noting that the maintainer has not seen those files. A store PKG cannot be used directly: the project says it is encrypted for the console that owns it. The README describes using a game dump folder or a fake PKG made from a dump instead. The project does not establish a legal ruling for any particular user’s copy, backup, or file-acquisition method.
PC requirements and available downloads
As of October 9, 2026, the project README lists these operating-system and graphics requirements. It distinguishes the published 1.0.1 release downloads from 1.0.2 changes and macOS packages discussed in the README, which were not yet published as release downloads at that check.

Release contents can change. Check the project’s README and Releases page for the current download status, and do not treat the port download as a source for the PS4 game files.
Controls, microphone and VR
Keyboard and mouse are supported, and the README says any gamepad can be used. A controller is optional. The original game’s microphone interaction is retained, but the project provides a configurable keyboard substitute for players without a microphone.

OpenXR VR support is experimental. The maintainer says it has only been run against a simulated runtime and that they do not have a headset, so there is no basis to treat VR as a reliable or tested way to play.
Is this an official Konami release?
No. This is an independent project, not an official Konami PC release. Its README says it is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to either Konami or Kojima Productions. GamesRadar reported on October 7, 2026 that Hideo Kojima reposted coverage of the port; that reported attention does not establish endorsement by Kojima, Konami or Kojima Productions. GamesRadar also reports that Konami delisted P.T. in 2015.

The project discloses that AI coding tools were used during development and debugging. That is a disclosure about the tools used, not a claim that the port was generated by AI. The README describes efforts to match the original and compare builds with PS4 references, but those testing claims have not been independently verified here.

Where to get the port
Use the project’s official GitHub repository to check its README and published releases. The installer is only the port: you must separately have compatible PS4 game files. Avoid treating third-party mirrors or claims of a bundled copy as part of the project’s stated distribution.
