Catch Prism Trout in Kilima Lake, in Kilima Valley, using worms between 3:00 AM and 6:00 PM. The fish entry also lists the Fairgrounds as a location during an active event.
Where and when to catch Prism Trout
Fish in Kilima Lake in Kilima Valley during the morning-and-day window, 3:00 AM–6:00 PM. The Prism Trout entry on the community-run Palia Wiki also lists the Fairgrounds as a possible location while an event is active.
For the usual lake fishing spot, bring worms. The Palia Wiki specifies worm bait; Palia DB additionally lists clear weather. That weather condition appears on Palia DB, not the dedicated fish entry, so treat it as a database-specific detail rather than a condition confirmed by both sources.
How to obtain Prism Trout another way
The fish entry says Prism Trout can also appear as a random drop when collecting Boovars on your ranch. This is an alternative to fishing, but the entry does not give a drop rate.
