That event ran through February 27, 2024; it is a past schedule, not a date to expect each year. Later editions changed the market’s activities and rewards, and the latest Luna New Year patch documented here is from February 2026.
What was new at the 2024 Luna New Year market?
Patch 0.176, published January 30, 2024, announced the market’s return to the Kilima Fairgrounds and listed a broad set of additions. The official event window was January 30 at 6 p.m. Palian time through February 27, 2024. Palia’s Patch 0.176 notes and its event announcement are the references for that edition.
- 18 exclusive food options and nine new dishes, with the dish recipes sold at Reth’s stall.
- 26 new Luna New Year decor pieces and six themed wallpapers.
- Bok Choy and Napa Cabbage seeds, plus Green Onion and Ginger forageables.
- New emotes, additional housing options and themed premium cosmetics.
The update also added Soy Sauce at Delaila’s stall. The patch’s explicit permanence note applies to Bok Choy, Napa Cabbage, Green Onion and Ginger: those ingredients remained available after the market closed. It does not say that every event item or recipe was permanently available.
When did the 2024 market run?
The 2024 Luna New Year market ran from January 30 at 6 p.m. Palian time until February 27. These are historical dates, not a recurring calendar. Although regular Maji Market events were described later in 2024, that schedule was specific to that update period.

How did other Maji Market editions differ?
Regular market in autumn 2024
Patch 0.184 described a regular Maji Market running for one week every four weeks during that period, with opening hours of 6 p.m. to 3 a.m. Palian time. Its activities and systems included Chapaa Chase, Pop-A-Chapaa, merchants and kiosks, returning stamp cards and Zeki’s Claw Machine. The notes said Pop-A-Chapaa balloons appeared at 8 p.m. Palian time and that participating players earned tickets; they also mentioned more than eight exclusive miniquests. These are details of that 2024 iteration, not guaranteed features of every Luna New Year market. See Patch 0.184 and its Maji Market details.
Luna New Year in February 2026
Patch 0.200, dated February 3, 2026, described a celebration for the Year of the Riffroc. Maji Treasure Chests appeared at new fairground locations, and the Stamp Card Achievement refreshed. Zeki’s “A New Year to Remember” quest did not refresh that year. The update also added a Bulletin Board bundle about mishaps during the celebration, rewarding a Roli voucher. Patch 0.200 documents those changes.

What changed about Hot Pot in 2026?
In the fairground version of Hot Pot, discarded cards reshuffle into the deck instead of the game ending when the deck runs out. A match ends automatically after ten minutes if no player has found three sets. The Underground version was unchanged in Patch 0.200. S6 said the event version was a trial intended to gather feedback about the minigame’s decision-making and social pressure; the notes did not announce that the change would move to the Underground.
Which 2026 rewards were in-game items?
The 2026 notes list seasonal decor such as the Year of the Riffroc Poster, LNY Soji Screen, Harvest Basket, Market Basket, Tea Tin and Treasure Box. The Golden Riffroc Plush was also an in-game reward available through the Chapaa Chase Prize Booth. The announcement describes a virtual item, not a physical plush for sale.

The same patch introduced Path of the Shred, a Lunar Path with free and Premium rewards, up to 14 reward levels, and progress that carries forward without an expiration. Its Premium unlock was listed at 825 Palia Coins. That is an in-game purchase detail, not a physical-product price.
Can past Luna New Year rewards return?
Some past limited-event rewards have appeared through another in-game route. In December 2025, Patch 0.198 said the Kilima Catalog would carry the Naga’s Blessing Nameplate, Year of the Naga Plush and Year of the Naga Poster. That example does not establish that all limited items will return. See Patch 0.198.

Is another Maji Market date confirmed?
The latest Luna New Year event documented here is the February 2026 edition. No later date is established by the official event notes cited above, so a future schedule should be treated as unconfirmed until Palia announces it.
