How to beat Bellanoir Libero depends on preparing for two elements, not simply bringing the highest-level Pals. The raid starts as Dark, changes to Ice near the end, and can recover roughly one-third of its health during that transition. Use Dragon damage first, switch immediately to Fire damage, and run the fight from a separate raid base. Bellanoir Libero Ultra has 900,000 reported HP and a 10-minute limit, so it is a sustained damage race as well as a survival check.

Bellanoir, Bellanoir Libero, and Libero Ultra compared
There are three Bellanoir raid versions. Bellanoir is the entry fight, Bellanoir Libero is the two-phase standard challenge, and Bellanoir Libero Ultra keeps the same elemental pattern while doubling the reported health of standard Libero. The figures below are guide and database values rather than official balance-sheet statistics; patches can change loot or mechanics.

The version you should attempt is mainly a question of time pressure and roster investment. Standard Bellanoir is forgiving enough for learning the altar and raid-base routine. Libero adds the elemental swap and a much larger health bar. Ultra requires enough sustained damage to remove about 90,000 HP before the final phase, survive the transition, and finish after the boss recovers health.
How to get slabs and summon Bellanoir
Craft the slab from four fragments
Every raid begins with a slab. Craft the relevant slab from four Slab Fragments, then take it to a Summoning Altar. The altar is consumed after one use, so do not place your only altar at the main production base or start the fight without a replacement plan.

Where Bellanoir Libero fragments come from
Reported sources for standard Libero fragments include the level-40 Volcanic Cavern, the level-45 Sacred Mountain Cavern, Wildlife Sanctuaries, and chests in endgame regions. Fragment drops are not guaranteed from every activity, so collect more than the four required for a single attempt when possible.
Unlocking Libero Ultra
A successful standard Bellanoir Libero clear can award the Ultra slab. Treat that reward as the progression gate: first prove that your roster can complete the two-phase fight, then farm or craft the materials needed for an Ultra attempt. Keep spare altar materials beside the Palbox so a failed summon does not force a long recovery trip.

- Build or select a Summoning Altar at the raid base.
- Place the four matching Slab Fragments into the crafting recipe and produce the desired slab.
- Move food, healing items, ammunition, spare armor, and both elemental teams to the raid base.
- Confirm every participating Pal is healed, equipped, and assigned to the intended phase.
- Activate the altar only when the base is clear and all players are ready; the altar is destroyed after the attempt.
Bellanoir is a summoned raid, not a normal capture encounter. Spheres cannot catch the boss during the fight. A victory instead awards an egg that hatches into the Bellanoir species.
Build a raid base before you fight
Protect the main base
Use a separate base on flat, durable terrain. A raid can destroy production buildings, storage, and breeding infrastructure, while a dedicated base limits the damage to the equipment you intentionally placed there. A spare Palbox and a second altar are more valuable than decorative defenses.

Use a centered Palbox and open ground
Place the Palbox centrally on a raised stone foundation. Put the altar toward an edge of the build area, leaving open ground between the altar and Palbox so Pals can path, retreat, and be recalled without colliding with buildings. Keep food, medicine, ammunition, and spare armor in containers that are easy to reach during the fight.
Do not rely on walls
Ultra attacks can pierce walls, so enclosed bunkers are not a reliable answer. Open space is safer because it lets you spread Pals and move away from beams. Walls may protect storage from ordinary raids, but they should not be your Bellanoir damage strategy.

Bellanoir Libero weakness and phase mechanics
Phase 1: Dark form
Bellanoir Libero opens as a Dark-type raid boss. Dragon attacks are the main counter, so your first team should be built around strong Dragon moves and high uptime. The Ultra guide describes wide-area Dark beams, including Nightmare Bloom. A beam can kill several Pals at once if they are standing together, making positioning as important as raw attack power.
Keep Pals spread around the boss rather than stacked on one point. Recall a Pal that is trapped in an attack zone instead of waiting for its health bar to empty; losing one member early leaves too little damage for the Ice phase.

The transition: Ice form
Near the end of the health bar, Bellanoir Libero changes from Dark to Ice. The Ultra guide places the swap below roughly 10% of its 900,000 HP, or about 90,000 HP remaining. The database reports a radial Ice blast that can freeze targets and a heal of about one-third of the health bar. That recovery is why a team that appears to be winning can suddenly run out of time.
Do not wait for the boss to finish its animation before changing teams. Recall Dragon Pals as the Ice transition begins and deploy Fire Pals immediately. Keep the Fire team outside the expected blast radius, then concentrate damage after the freeze effect ends.
Phase 2: Ice form
Fire damage is the practical Bellanoir Libero weakness in the final phase. The fight is shorter than the opening only if your Fire Pals arrive healthy and your Dragon team has not been wiped by beam attacks. Save player burst ammunition for this phase when possible, but do not hold it so long that the timer expires during the Dark phase.
What changes in the Ice phase?
- The boss changes from Dark to Ice near the end of its health bar.
- Dragon damage stops being the preferred counter; switch to Fire damage.
- A reported radial Ice blast can freeze targets.
- The boss can recover about one-third of its health, extending the damage race.
- Ultra players must make the swap quickly because the 10-minute limit continues during the recovery and final burn.
The practical trigger is visual and positional rather than a precise displayed number. Watch for the elemental change and the transition animation, recall the Dragon team at once, and send the Fire team before the next attack cycle.

What Pals should I use?
Phase 1 Dragon roster
Suggested opening choices include Jetragon, Chillet, Orserk, and Eidolon Ignis, plus other high-investment Dragon attackers. Eidolon Ignis is also recommended in community raid guidance for the first phase. Choose the Pals with the best combination of level, passive traits, condenser investment, and reliable Dragon skills; an uninvested type advantage is usually worse than a fully upgraded attacker you already know how to control.
- Jetragon: high sustained Dragon damage for players with a fully raised endgame roster.
- Chillet: mounting it can convert the player’s attacks to Dragon damage, giving the player a second source of Phase 1 pressure.
- Orserk: a flexible high-damage choice that can remain useful in raid compositions.
- Eidolon Ignis: a recommended Phase 1 option in community guidance; use it only if its level and skills match your other attackers.
Phase 2 Fire roster
Blazamut, Jormuntide Ignis, and Dupin are suggested Fire-phase choices. Dupin is specifically highlighted in community guidance for the second phase. Have this team in a separate party slot or at the top of your Palbox so the swap takes seconds rather than a menu search.
Player-damage support
For Ultra, four Gobfins carrying Vanguard and Stronghold Strategist are recommended as player-damage support. This setup is intended to improve the player’s sustained contribution while the active combat Pals handle elemental pressure. It is a guide recommendation, not an official minimum requirement.
Player weapons and armor
Guide recommendations for the player are Pal Metal Helm and Armor, a Hyper Shield, an Attack Pendant, a Pump-Action Shotgun for sustained fire, and a Rocket Launcher for burst damage. These are suggested loadouts rather than balance requirements. Upgrade the equipment you can maintain and bring enough ammunition to cover the full timer.

Bellanoir Libero Ultra guide: a reliable execution plan
Before activating the altar
- Set your active party to the Dragon Phase 1 team and verify every Pal is healed.
- Place the Fire Phase 2 team in an immediately accessible party slot or storage position.
- Load the Pump-Action Shotgun and Rocket Launcher, then check ammunition.
- Spread Pals around the open arena before the first attack lands.
- Start a timer mentally from the summon; Ultra has a 10-minute limit.
During the Dark opening
- Stay mounted on Chillet if you are using its Dragon-damage conversion, or fight from a safe angle with your strongest weapon.
- Command Dragon Pals to attack, but keep them separated so Nightmare Bloom and other wide beams cannot hit the entire roster.
- Use shotgun fire for steady damage and reserve rocket burst for safe openings or the late Dark segment.
- Recall Pals that are frozen, trapped, or close to death instead of allowing several to fall together.
- Keep dealing damage until the Ice transition is clearly visible; do not swap early and give up Dragon pressure.
At the Ice transition
- Recall the Dragon Pals immediately when Bellanoir changes element.
- Send Blazamut, Jormuntide Ignis, Dupin, or your prepared Fire alternatives.
- Move away from the radial blast and wait out any freeze effect without clumping the Fire team.
- Use the Rocket Launcher and other burst damage after the boss completes the transition attack.
- Continue attacking through the reported health recovery; the fight is not reset, but the final burn is longer than the pre-transition bar suggests.
If the timer is running out
Do not spend the final minute rebuilding a fallen team. Keep the healthiest Fire attackers active, use every remaining burst weapon, and stay alive long enough to maintain damage. If Ultra repeatedly reaches the Ice phase with too much health, improve Dragon-phase uptime, passive traits, and player attack investment before spending another slab.

Common failure points and fixes

Rewards and what you actually receive
Winning does not let you catch Bellanoir during the battle. The reported reward structure includes an egg that hatches into Bellanoir, and a standard Libero victory can award the Ultra slab.
The Ultra guide reports the following loot: Witch’s Crown at 100%, Multiclimate Undershirt +2 at 100%, two to three Ancient Civilization Cores, and a Huge Dark Egg at 100%. These are reported guide values and can be version-sensitive; check the game’s current patch notes or in-game reward screen if a later update changes the table.

Recommended progression order
- Build a separate raid base and learn the Summoning Altar process with Bellanoir.
- Collect four Libero fragments from high-level dungeons, Wildlife Sanctuaries, and endgame chests.
- Clear standard Bellanoir Libero with a Dragon opening team and a Fire reserve team.
- Use the clear and any Ultra slab reward to prepare a fully invested level-50 roster.
- Attempt Ultra only when the opening phase leaves enough time and healthy Pals for the Ice recovery and final burn.
That order minimizes wasted slabs: Bellanoir teaches the arena, standard Libero tests the phase swap, and Ultra tests whether your damage and survival are high enough to finish within ten minutes.
