Those rankings measure different things, so neither is a universal verdict: use Eidrolon Ignis as the best-supported combat-tier pick, then adjust for your opponent, moves and build.
This list uses Palworld 1.0 as its version anchor. Pocketpair announced the game’s exit from Early Access in July 2026 (official release announcement; Steam listing).
How this Fire combat tier list is ranked
The main ranking follows FarmFriends’ level-50 reference model. It compares offense, durability and skill-element coverage at weights of 55%, 30% and 15%, respectively. Its reference build uses neutral IVs, no Condenser and no Souls. The score does not include type advantages, and it is a model-based comparison—not controlled player matches or a win-rate test. FarmFriends says it scores 42 Fire Pals and leaves one unranked because it lacks scoreable skill data (FarmFriends’ Fire tier list).
A different ranking answers a different question. PalworldGuide lists 44 Fire-type Pals and estimates a score from attack, defense and HP; it puts Blazamut Ryu first, followed by Jormuntide Ignis and Blazamut. The guide explicitly says this estimate is not tested combat performance and excludes moves, Partner Skills and builds (PalworldGuide’s Fire roster and stats).

There is no shared published combat dataset establishing win rates or controlled damage-per-second results for these candidates. Treat the tiers below as a practical starting point based on the available model, not a guarantee of in-game results.
Fire Pals: combat tiers
| Tier | Pal | What the evidence supports |
|---|---|---|
| S | Eidrolon Ignis | Highest-scoring Fire Pal in FarmFriends’ level-50 combat model. |
| A | Blazamut Ryu | Among FarmFriends’ leading Fire choices; first in PalworldGuide’s stat-only estimate. |
| A | Sootseer | Among FarmFriends’ leading Fire choices. |
| A | Jormuntide Ignis | Second in PalworldGuide’s stat-only estimate; its placement there does not establish tested combat performance. |
| A | Blazamut | Third in PalworldGuide’s stat-only estimate; its placement there does not establish tested combat performance. |
The sources do not provide a common score or comparable tested results for every candidate, so this is a selective tier guide rather than a claim that each A-tier Pal has been measured against the others under identical combat conditions. In particular, the stat-only positions should not be read as combat-test placements.

Which Fire Pal should you choose?
Choose Eidrolon Ignis for the strongest model-based combat pick
If you want one name based on the clearest combat-oriented comparison available here, start with Eidrolon Ignis. Its lead comes from FarmFriends’ stated level-50 formula, not a controlled match record. Because the formula excludes type advantages, your opponent can still change which Pal is the better choice.
Choose Blazamut Ryu if you value the stat-profile leader
Blazamut Ryu tops PalworldGuide’s estimate based on attack, defense and HP, and it also appears among FarmFriends’ leading Fire choices. That makes it a strong candidate to consider, but the stat estimate alone does not prove it performs better in combat than Eidrolon Ignis.

Rank #3
Consider Sootseer and Jormuntide Ignis as alternatives
Sootseer is among FarmFriends’ top-scoring Fire choices. Jormuntide Ignis ranks second in PalworldGuide’s stat estimate. Those are useful reasons to compare them for your team, but the sources do not establish a direct combat-test ranking between either Pal and the leaders.
Matchups can outweigh a same-type ranking
Fire is strong against Grass and Ice, while Fire Pals are vulnerable to Water. FarmFriends’ score excludes type advantages, so use the matchup as a separate decision rather than assuming the tier order accounts for it. For a Grass- or Ice-heavy opponent, a Fire pick can be a useful answer; into Water, consider changing your lineup or bringing support that addresses the disadvantage. These matchup notes reflect the combat guidance in TimeSaver.gg’s Palworld combat guide, not an official Pocketpair tier ranking.

What can change a Pal’s practical combat value?
- Moves: The stat-only estimate does not account for learned moves. Skill-element coverage is part of FarmFriends’ score, but that remains only one component of its formula.
- Partner Skills: Their utility can change how a Pal contributes in a particular team or fight; PalworldGuide’s stat estimate leaves them out.
- IVs, passives and investment: The combat guide identifies IVs, passive skills and Condensing as factors that influence combat value. FarmFriends’ reference assumes neutral IVs and no Condenser or Souls, so a developed Pal may differ from that baseline.
- Opponent element: Fire’s advantage against Grass and Ice, and its weakness to Water, are not included in FarmFriends’ numeric score.
As a result, the published ranks are best used to narrow your candidates. Your chosen moves, Partner Skill, investment and opponent determine whether the model’s order fits your actual fight.
Version and source context
This guide is anchored to Palworld 1.0, which Pocketpair announced as the game’s exit from Early Access in July 2026. The rankings cited here are from 2026 guide pages; they are not official Pocketpair rankings. FarmFriends says its data is based on Palworld Wiki data and is recomputed when it re-scrapes, so its ordering depends on both the underlying dataset and its scoring formula.
