The expansion launched on December 12, 2025. Grinding Gear Games announced an 11:00 a.m. Pacific Standard Time (PST) start, equivalent to 2:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) that day. What time did realms go down and servers come back?
The launch information post scheduled realm downtime for December 12 at 12:00 p.m. EST, with servers going live at 2:00 p.m. EST. Patching was due to begin shortly after realms went down, so the downtime and patching window started before the expansion’s scheduled launch. The post notes that displayed times are localized to the account’s time zone; if the time shown appeared wrong, it advised checking the countdown on the game’s main page. - Consoles: 27 GB.
- Existing PC players using the predownload torrent: an estimated 127 GB, because it included existing client content.
The 127 GB torrent figure was not the size of the standard patch download.

GGG announced a historical free-play period from December 12 at 11:00 a.m. PST through December 15 at 11:00 a.m. PST. The offer applied to the standalone PC client, Steam, Epic Games Store, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5. It was a three-day promotion, not a current offer.
