A Dance of Masks is the sixth and final premium DLC in Season Pass 2 for Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous. To begin, load a Chapter 5 save and, after the coronation at Drezen Citadel, wait for Arsinoe to arrive with an invitation to a festival in rebuilt Kenabres. It is downloadable content, not a separate game.
How to start A Dance of Masks
- Load a Chapter 5 save. Owlcat’s launch instructions say this is required for the DLC’s invitation sequence.
- Complete the coronation at Drezen Citadel. Afterward, wait for Arsinoe to arrive and invite you to Kenabres. Owlcat’s launch post does not specify a waiting period.
- If Arsinoe does not appear, try resting. Pro Game Guides says the approach may take up to three days of rest, then advises accepting the invitation and travelling to Kenabres. Treat that timing as guide advice rather than an official timer; the steps may vary with game version or progress. See its DLC start walkthrough.
What the DLC adds
The Commander returns to rebuilt Kenabres for a festival that leads into a new adventure. Owlcat’s feature announcement describes personal events for companions, romance events for romanceable companions, an arena, voiced dialogue, a new weapon type and 11 new archetypes. The festival includes activities to explore before the larger masquerade and plot sequence; walkthroughs also describe optional companion quests and a later celebration. For the official feature list, see Owlcat Games’ announcement.

Which game edition do you need?
Compatibility depends on the platform and storefront. Check the listing for the edition you play before purchasing:
| Storefront listing | Stated requirement |
|---|---|
| Steam | Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous – Enhanced Edition is required. See the Steam DLC listing. |
| Nintendo UK, Switch Cloud Version | Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous – Cloud Version is required. See the Nintendo UK listing. |
These are storefront-specific requirements, not a universal platform compatibility list. Owlcat links the standalone DLC and Season Pass 2 purchase options for Steam, Epic Games Store and GOG on its purchase page. If you already own Season Pass 2, check your platform’s library and DLC status before buying it again. Prices, sales and regional availability can change, so confirm the current listing for your account and region.

Release date and walkthrough cautions
Steam lists June 13, 2024 as the DLC’s release date. Walkthroughs can help with festival activities and optional quests, but their tests, dialogue outcomes, item locations and late-encounter rewards may depend on player choices or game version. Use them as route guidance rather than assuming every result applies to your save.
