Where is the Ivory Sanctum, and when can you go there?
The Ivory Sanctum is in the Grey Road region, southwest of Drezen. Guide accounts place it on the map after you complete the main objective in Wintersun. In Act 3, it is associated with the main quest Know Thy Enemy and is described by the community-maintained wiki as the second-to-last main-story dungeon of the act. These are walkthrough and wiki descriptions, not an official Owlcat route specification. For general game context, see Owlcat’s official game page.
The Sanctum is not just a Nenio quest location: you encounter it as part of the main story, while its Circle Mask is a companion-quest collectible. The puzzle codes below are room-specific; do not treat them as one sequence.
Ivory Sanctum puzzle solutions
Each puzzle uses wall buttons marked with symbols whose point counts correspond to the numbers in the combination. Match the symbols in the order shown by your current game interface. These codes are reported by secondary walkthroughs and a community-maintained wiki; they are not an official solution document.

The codes are tied to different rooms and rewards. In particular, the Circle Mask comes from the central Baphomet-statue room’s chest, not from the northern door or the other chest. If an input does not work, make sure you are interacting with the intended puzzle and entering the symbols in sequence as displayed, rather than substituting a code from another room.
How to get Nenio’s Circle Mask
- Reach the central room containing the Baphomet statue.
- Find the symbol-button puzzle associated with the nearby chest.
- Enter 3-6-5-4 in the order presented by the game.
- Open the chest and take the Circle Mask.
The Circle Mask is one of four masks connected to Nenio’s More than Nothing quest. The quest eventually sends you to the Nameless Ruins; placing the masks there opens a portal to the Enigma.

Do you need all four masks during Act 3?
No. The Circle Mask is available in the Ivory Sanctum, but the other masks are tied to different locations: Heart of Mystery, Pulura’s Fall, and Ineluctable Prison. Their availability depends on campaign progression and mythic path. Some are delayed until Act 5 for non-Angel paths, while Pulura’s Fall has path-dependent earlier availability. Therefore, do not assume that completing the Sanctum in Act 3 means you can collect every mask immediately.
This guide covers the documented puzzle codes and Circle Mask location, not every encounter, room route, or optional item in the dungeon. Puzzle behavior and progression details may differ if a game update changes them.
