Pax Dei Interactive Maps: Regions, Resource Filters and POIs

Use The Hidden Gaming Lair for Pax Dei resources and spawns, and Atlas for player-created community markers. Both can change, so verify locations in-game.

For gathering and resource searches in Pax Dei, start with The Hidden Gaming Lair’s interactive maps; for player-created settlements, markets and other community markers, use Pax Dei Atlas. They serve different purposes, and their data can change after game updates or resets, so verify an exact location in-game. The available pages reflect updates after October 2025 and do not establish precisely which regions, filters or points of interest were present in that month.

Which Pax Dei map should you use?

Map Best for Visible coverage and features What to check
The Hidden Gaming Lair Resources, creatures and location searches Maps for five named provinces and additional Haunts; categories include gatherables, mineables, NPCs, named enemies, gateways and crafting skills. Whether a filter matches your game version, whether an area has been reset, and whether the marked location is still accurate.
Pax Dei Atlas Player-created social and settlement markers Markers for settlements, markets, waystations, clans and points of interest (POIs), plus a marker search box. Whether players have added the community or place you are looking for. The site describes itself as fan-made.

Neither map is universally better: The Hidden Gaming Lair is oriented toward resource and spawn categories, while Atlas focuses on community places and activity.

Find resources and spawns on The Hidden Gaming Lair

The Hidden Gaming Lair’s map index covers five named provinces and additional Haunt maps. Its guide index organizes map information into gatherable and mineable resources, NPCs, named enemies, gateways and crafting-related categories. Choose the area and category relevant to your search, then confirm the pin in the game rather than treating the map as a guaranteed current spawn record.

Its filters are affected by game changes. In a September 17, 2026 R48 update note, the site says it added Radiant Hart as a filter and Blessed Sevenfold as a gathering filter alongside crafting categories. Those are later updates, not evidence of what the maps showed in October 2025. The site also noted on December 12, 2025 that Lyonesse location data had been cleared after the game’s Verse 5 update reset, and that tracking had restarted.

Use Atlas for community places

Pax Dei Atlas exposes community-oriented markers for settlements, markets, waystations, clans and POIs. Its marker search box helps locate a marker type or entry, but the usefulness of the results depends on players having populated the map. Atlas’s About page describes it as a fan-made project unaffiliated with the development team; it says the project was listed on the official Discord as a Community Resource.

Why map pins and counts can go stale

Third-party maps are useful guides, not authoritative in-game location data. A game reset can invalidate recorded locations, and filters may change as the game changes. The Hidden Gaming Lair’s own pages also show why totals should not be treated as fixed: its homepage was indexed on October 2, 2026 advertising 21 maps and more than 923,000 locations, while its opened Maps page displayed a different total of 898,502. Those are mutable site counts, not independently verified inventories.

A February 2026 player post asking for an updated map mentioned gates that seemed misplaced and duplicate region labeling. That is an individual report, not evidence of how widespread such issues are, but it illustrates why exact pins merit an in-game check.

Check nearby locations with the in-game compass

Mainframe Industries’ official “Spotlight on Your New Compass System” announcement says the optional compass displays cardinal directions, nearby POIs and custom markers. The announcement gives about 300 meters as the current range for nearby custom markers and POIs. It says plots appear at long range—more than a kilometer but less than a mile. The compass can be turned off under the game settings’ General section.

Pax Romana - PC
  • Historical real-time strategy game set in ancient Rome
  • 6 active Roman political factions, represented by up to 6 players
  • Dozens of opponents to select among the 100+ nations represented
  • Map of ancient Europe with multiple zoom levels and 4 different map modes
  • 10 different historical scenarios and over 150 historical events

Use a third-party map to plan where to go, then use the compass and your surroundings to orient yourself when you are nearby. Its presence does not make a third-party pin current; it provides an in-game navigation aid.

What can be established about October 2025?

The available map pages and update notes include changes from after October 2025, but do not establish a complete snapshot of the maps’ regions, filters or POIs in that month. In particular, do not read the later R48 filter additions or the December 2025 Lyonesse reset note as October 2025 features. For a present-day search, consult the live maps and check their update notes; for a historical October 2025 feature list, these sources are insufficient.
