PEAK Badges: Where to Find Them and How to Unlock Them

PEAK’s Accolades screen is the best place to check current badge requirements. Community lists disagree on the total, so verify exact thresholds, run rules, and credit in-game.

To check badge requirements in PEAK, open the pause menu and select Accolades. The game’s current descriptions are the best guide to your progress: locked badges appear greyed out with question marks, according to the community guide. A reliable, complete current list cannot be confirmed from the available community pages: one lists 52 entries, while another reports 64 in a snapshot dated 13 August 2026. Treat the in-game Accolades screen as authoritative for your version rather than assuming either number is current.

Where to check badge requirements

During a run, open the pause menu and choose Accolades. The screen shows badge progress and descriptions; locked entries are described by the community guide as greyed out and marked with question marks. Read each description in your own game version before planning a run, because badge rules and the catalog can change.

Badges are tied to cosmetic rewards, according to the community guide. Some requirements are immediate, while others track cumulative progress. In co-op, credit may depend on which Scout performs the relevant action, so check the description and progress counter rather than assuming every teammate receives credit for the same task. Why there is no dependable published total

The community-maintained PEAK Wiki badge listing renders 52 entries. A separate community guide snapshot dated 13 August 2026 reports 64 badges. Those counts conflict, and neither establishes the live in-game total. The wiki.gg badge page could not be accessed for verification, so a full current inventory and every exact badge-to-reward pairing cannot be confirmed here.

PEAK released on Steam on 16 June 2025, but the release date does not settle how many badges are in a later game version. Use Accolades for the current catalog rather than treating a community page count as definitive. Steam store listing for PEAK

What kinds of tasks badges require

The examples below illustrate the range of objectives found in community-maintained lists; they are not a complete or guaranteed-current checklist. Confirm each name, threshold, mode, and credit rule in Accolades before attempting it.

  • 24 Karat: offer the Kiln a worthy sacrifice by dropping the Ancient Idol into lava. A community guide gives a more route-specific account, saying to carry the Idol from the Mesa tomb to lava at the Kiln or Citadel; verify the live description.

The community guide also describes route-specific examples such as ringing five GLOOM belltowers in one expedition for Bellringer, burning up the Big Ghost in GLOOM with specified light or fire sources for Exorcist, and climbing past the Citadel without being hit by traps for Medieval History. These details may depend on the game version, so use the in-game wording where it differs. PEAK Game Wiki badge guide

Do Custom Expeditions or easier difficulties count?

The community guide says Custom Expeditions do not award badges and that all difficulties, including Tenderfoot, count except for Undead Encounter. Because these rules can change, confirm eligibility in the badge description or current game before committing to a run. PEAK Game Wiki badge guide

How to use the list without wasting a run

  1. Open the pause menu and select Accolades.
  2. Choose a locked badge and read its exact condition, including any named biome, item, difficulty, or expedition limit.
  3. Check whether its progress is per-run or cumulative and whether a particular Scout must perform the action.
  4. Before starting, confirm that the selected expedition type and difficulty qualify; community guidance excludes Custom Expeditions and names an exception for Undead Encounter.
  5. After the action, return to Accolades and check whether progress updated or the badge unlocked.
