To unlock Nozomi Suemitsu’s Moon Social Link in Persona 3 Reload, raise Charm to rank 2, progress the Magician Social Link until Kenji mentions the Gourmet King, then find Nozomi at Paulownia Mall. Answer his food quiz correctly and give him an Odd Morsel. For rank-ups, bring a Moon Persona and use the listed dialogue choices where available.
How to unlock Nozomi’s Moon Social Link
- Reach Charm rank 2, “Unpolished.” Nozomi will not start the conversation route before you meet this requirement.
- Advance the Magician Social Link. Kenji can point you toward Nozomi after Magician rank 3, according to Game8 and Push Square. Some guide references put the trigger at rank 4, so if Kenji has not mentioned him, speak to Kenji again after progressing the link.
- Find Nozomi at Paulownia Mall. He is the Gourmet King. Talk to him to begin his quiz.
- Pass the Gourmet Quiz. Choose the three answers below. If you miss one, you may need to return another day and try again.
- Give Nozomi an Odd Morsel. This recovery item can be found in Tartarus, including in treasure chests. After handing it over, the Social Link route can begin.

When Nozomi is available
Nozomi is available every day, making his link more flexible than school-based Social Links. Guide listings include holidays and days before tests; Push Square describes his window as after school or daytime when there is no school. Bring a Persona of the Moon Arcana when you spend time with him: Prima Games says it earns extra dialogue points and can help you reach rank-ups sooner. When the game says, “I feel like I might grow closer to Suemitsu soon…,” the next meeting will rank up the link.

What happens at Rank 9?
Nozomi’s Rank 9 event includes a scripted reversal. Prima Games says it does not affect Social Link progress and returns to normal by the end of the event. You will need to meet him again before the link finishes.
